This 7 transistor later version Roberts R200 radio was introduced in February 1962 at £14. 6s. 0d. plus PT.
This beautiful classic Red Roberts R200 radio with slow motion tuning is in perfect working order on both wavebands (MW/LW) and it is all in excellent cosmetic condition with clean grille, complete knobs with shiny brass inserts and complete Roberts badge. It has a socket on the rear door for connection of an external or car aerial
The strap is original, the leathercloth covering is in excellent cosmetic condition and still has its original colour, the battery box is clean with no sign of any spills.
I have provided lots of clear close up photos of the radio which you can enlarge in order to see the cosmetic condition in detail and assess for yourself.
The radio stands on the usual Roberts turntable base for the best reception from it's ferrite rod aerial.
This Roberts radio set is more than 50 years old but is absolutely authentic, original and complete and in beautiful condition- Great item for vintage radio collectors!
The R200 requires a 9Volt PP9 Battery (not supplied)
