This 8 transistor plus crystal diode high quality build standard radio from the mid 1960's covers the Long waveband (1070-1900m) and MW (187-565m) with bandspread on the high frequency end of the M.W over 192-210m.
It has separate tuning scales for Bandspread, Medium wave and Long wavebands.
It has a switched headphone or external loudspeaker socket which mutes the internal speaker when a headphone is connected and which can also be used to connect to a tape recorder input. There is also a socket to connect an external or car aerial.
It has rotary tone, volume on/off and tuning controls with push button band selectors. An internal ferrite rod gives good reception on all wavebands.
The radio is housed in a leatherette covered case with a strong metal carry handle.
This Radio is complete and original, fully checked and serviced and all in excellent cosmetic condition, very clean externally and internally. Its very rare to find one especially in this condition.
It works very well on all wavebands with scratch free controls. It has an excellent reception and sound from an extra large 8" X 5" oval loudspeaker.
It requires a 2 x 9 Volt PP9 Battery (not supplied)
