This very popular DAC.90 in my opinion is one of the most beautiful looking vintage valve radios, there is style and class in it and of course it is a great example of the British Radio History. It is the most collectable English Valve Radio.
It is a simply 'must have' radio for a serious vintage radio collector or for anyone who loves the beauty and the style, the simplicity and the deep and warm sound of the valve radios - just plug your radio in to the mains, wait about 40 seconds for the valves to warm up and then tune in to your favorite station.
This DAC.90 radio have been fully serviced, cleaned an polished internally and externally. It is original and complete and is working very well on both wavebands.
As you can see from the good range of photos provided the whole set is in near mint cosmetic condition and is very clean externally and internally.
In the past years we have restored and sold many of these radios and all of them in excellent condition and considering that it is 70 years old I can honestly classify this radio as being in Rare Mint condition - The highly polished Bakelite case with a deep black glossy finished is in immaculate condition with no marks, chips, cracks or scratches.
The colourful dial markings are very bright, clean and unscratched and both pilot lights are working.
The original knobs are in excellent condition too. A correct mains lead is supplied with the radio.
I am providing a good range of clear close up photos of the radio.
Please enlarge them in order to see the cosmetic condition in detail.
The radio works direct from the mains - a mains lead is included with the radio.
Because of the delicate nature of valve radios, we prefer this radio to be collected in person but will be happy to pack safely and send it via 24h. courier.
