Tan Coloured Roberts R24
3 Waveband Mains/Battery Portable Transistor Radio
+ a Copy of the Original Roberts Technical Data
10" x 6" x 3.4"
Introduced in 1983, the Roberts R24 portable radio covers the full FM waveband from 88MHz to 108MHz plus the Medium and Long
wavebands.
The Roberts R24 has a telescopic aerial for FM reception and an internal ferrite rod for Medium and Long waves.
It also has a headphone socket and a strong metal carry handle.
The radio is complete with its 4 red station markers.
It is covered in a beautiful tan leathercloth and has teak wooden ends and stands on the usual Roberts turntable base.
This Roberts R24 Radio is in excellent cosmetic condition, very clean externally and internally.
The tan covered cabinet is in perfect condition.
The grille is bright without any marks and dents.
The knobs and buttons are all original and in superb condition.
The swivel base telescopic aerial is straight and complete and fully extendable. As this is 30 years old radio it may have some age related marks.
As usual my listings are provided with lots of clear close up photos of the item for sale, which you can enlarge in order to see the cosmetic condition in detail.
This R24 has been fully checked, cleaned and serviced and works very well on all wavebands with smooth and scratch free controls and sounds great.
It works on either a 9Volt battery (not supplied) or direct from a mains (a new mains lead supplied with the radio)
