It is designed to work from all dry batteries or direct from the mains. ( note:- suitable batteries can no longer be obtained)
It covers :
- the medium waveband from 192 to 570 meters
- the long waveband  from 1200 to 2100 meters.

This Roberts CR has been fully checked, cleaned and serviced and looks great It is working very well on both wavebands from either mains or battery power.
It was tested on the battery setting using an Amplion Convette battery eliminator.

The leatherette covering is free from tears and bad scratches and the whole radio is in excellent condition both cosmetically and electrically.
Some minor age related marks are to be expected on a radio of this age.

I have provided lots of clear close up photos of the radio in order to see the cosmetic condition in detail.
