1970's Roberts Black RT22 Portable Transistor Radio

THIS RADIO WAS SOLD ON 10th of JULY 2013

This is a 3 waveband 13 transistor portable radio in the true Roberts tradition of a black leather covered wooden cabinet with wooden ends on a turntable base for best AM reception.

The Roberts RT22 covers the Long, Medium and VHF/ FM wavebands.

It has a swivel base telescopic aerial for FM reception and strong carry handle.

This classic little radio is all in excellent near mint condition in every respect.

Its all original and complete.

I have provided lots of clear photos of the radio, please enlarge them to see the cosmetic condition in detail.

The radio works very well on all wavebands with smooth and scratch free controls.

A copy of the Original Technical Data is included.

It requires a 9 volt PP9 battery (not supplied)
