The Aviemore is a three waveband portable radio covering the Medium, Long and VHF/FM wavebands.
It is a 12 transistor radio with the circuitry assembled on sub panels. A DIN socket is provided for the connection of a tape recorder and there is a socket for the connection of headphones.
AM reception is from an internal ferrite rod aerial and there is a 28 inch telescopic aerial for FM.
Wavebands are selected by push buttons and there is a push button tone control
This Aviemore is housed in a beautiful tan leather covered wooden cabinet with solid wood ends and a strong metal carry handle - all in perfect condition.
It has been fully checked and serviced, cleaned and polished and the whole radio is in very fine, near mint condition. It is very clean internally and externally, all complete and original.
It is working very well on all wavebands with smooth and scratch free controls and selector buttons. It has a beautiful and clear sound.

This Hacker Aviemore is a fine example for any serious transistor radio collector and for anyone who loves the great sound and performance of Hackers.
