The Mayflower II has a well deserved reputation of being one of the best radios Hacker ever made - a beautiful and very stylish table top design combined with top quality components, parts and materials.  

The Mayflower II is a high fidelity FM only 8 valve mains operated radio covering the FM band from 84 to 104 MHz with an ultra linear  push-pull Hi Fi output stage in an attractive veneered cabinet.

It has a combined volume and on/off switch, a rotary tuning control, an IF sensitivity control, a treble cut control and an AFC on/off switch.

There is an EM84 visual tuning indicator, adjustable station markers, an internal aerial for local reception, sockets for tape and pick-up and provision for an external 75 ohm aerial. It has also a socket for an external loudspeaker.

This Hacker Mayflower II RV20 is an over 50 years old radio but its in excellent cosmetic condition and is very clean and bright externally and internally with some signs of  usage in the past .

It is complete and original in every respect and will be a great addition to any radio collection. Its also a beautiful radio to be owned and listen to.

This Mayflower II  is working very well even on its internal aerial and it has fantastically clear and amazing sound from its large Goodmans loudspeaker.

The radio has recently been fully checked, cleaned and serviced.

It comes with a copy of the circuit diagram and component layout plus colour copies of the original  sales booklet, Operating Instructions, and valve function and placement diagram.
