Portable Transistor Radio

The Hacker Democrat RP34 was produced from 1966 to 1967 .

It is a two waveband portable radio covering the Medium and Long waves.

It is a compact 9 transistor radio with a large 8" elliptical loudspeaker and 8 inch ferrite rod aerial with provision to connect an external or car aerial.

This Hacker Democrat RP34  is housed in a classic black leather covered wooden cabinet with a strong metal carry handle.

The radio has recently been checked, clean and fully serviced. It is an original and complete radio set and it is all in excellent cosmetic condition for a radio which is mote than 50 years old. It has a clear dial, original shiny knobs and buttons, clean aluminium grille and handle, the leathercloth is in great condition without any scratches and tears. The rear black grille is complete and all three feet are present.  

I have provided a good range of clear close up pictures of this radio in order to see the cosmetic condition in detail and judge for yourself.
 

The radio is working very well on both wavebands with smooth and scratch free controls and selector buttons.

This is a great example for any transistor radio collectors or someone who likes the real vintage radio quality and amazing Hacker sound.

The radio requires two 9 Volt batteries (not supplied)
