Vintage 1960's Hacker Autocrat RP33
Portable Transistor Radio
Dimensions: 10.5 x 7.5 x 3.5"
The Autocrat RP33 was produced from 1963 to 1969.
It is a two waveband portable radio covering the Medium and Long waves designed for home or car use.
The internal ferrite rod is switched out of circuit and screened coils used instead when being used in the car. The circuit features include 9 transistors with temperature and voltage compensation in the separate audio amplifier module.
There is a press button tone control and sockets to connect an external or car aerial and headphones.
The RP33 is housed in a black leather covered wooden cabinet with teak wooden ends and a strong metal carry handle.
The radio has been recently fully checked and serviced and is all in excellent cosmetic condition.
It is complete and original in any respect.
As usual my listings are provided with lots of clear close up photos of the item for sale in order to see the cosmetic condition in detail.
It is working very well on both wavebands with smooth and scratch free controls and selector buttons.
The radio requires two 9Volt batteries (not supplied)
