The Top Boy 600 was manufactured from 1974 to 1976.
It is slim and lightweight and very easy to use and it has very accurate tuning. It is a mains or battery operated radio which has classic styling and great quality performance. This is the version with wooden effect front panel.
The Top Boy 600 is a 10 transistor 3 waveband portable superhet covering the Long and Medium wavebands plus the full FM waveband from 88MHz to 108 MHz.
It has been fully serviced, cleaned and polished and the whole radio is in excellent cosmetic condition, complete and original.
The cabinet is in very nice condition, very clean and free from any cracks.
The dials are clear and the original slider and push buttons look perfect and are working nicely. The FM scale is on the front panel and the MW/LW scales are on the top panel. There is a headphone socket on the rear panel.
The original swivel base aerial is complete and fully extendable.

As this is a more than 40 years old radio some age related marks are normal and to be expected.
The radio is in perfect working order on all 3 wavebands with very good volume and sensitivity.
The sound quality is excellent from the usual large 4.5" elliptical Grundig loudspeaker.
This is a great radio not only for radio collectors but also for everyday use. It comes complete with an attached UK mains lead.
It has a slider volume control. MW & LW reception is from an internal ferrite rod and there is a telescopic swivel-base aerial for the FM.
It will work direct from the mains (from 110 to 240 volts) or from 4 x 1.5Volt 'C' size batteries (Batteries not supplied)
