The Yacht Boy 210 Radio was Grundig's Flag Ship of the 1970's.
It is a ten transistor radio covering the Medium and Long wavebands plus the short band from 5.85 to 7.4 MHz and the full VHF/FM band from 87.5 to 108 MHz.
Switchable AFC is incorporated and there is a rotary tone control for excellent sound from the usual Grundig large loudspeaker.
A switchable battery test meter is provided on the front panel.
Sockets are provided for the connection of a VHF Dipole, AM Aerial & Earth, Earphone, Tape Recorder 5 pin DIN and external power supplies.
Normal reception for Short Wave and VHV is from the built in telescopic aerial, MW and LW reception is from the built in ferrite rod aerial
The radio will work from 6 'D' size cells - (Not included) or a 9 Volt external power supply.
This radio is in excellent cosmetic condition. It has been fully checked and serviced. It is a complete and original set with correct knobs and buttons, undented grille, clear and bright dial and a nicely extendable 28"swivel base aerial.
Considering that it is a more than 40 years old used radio you may find some age related marks and signs of use but overall it is just a great radio set to own and listen to.
I have provided a good range of clear close up photos of the radio. Please enlarge them in order to see the cosmetic condition in detail.
This radio works perfectly on all wavebands and has an amazingly strong and clear sound from its large Grundig speaker.
It comes complete with a copy of the operating instructions and a copy of the Grundig circuit diagram and service instructions.
