Ekco Vanity PT378 - Two Waveband Portable Transistor Radio
 

This 6 transistor high quality build standard radio from the early 1960's covers the long and medium wavebands 

It has a socket to connect an external or car aerial.
It has rotary volume on/off and slow motion tuning controls with a switched band selector. An internal ferrite rod gives good reception on both wavebands.

The radio is housed in two tone leatherette covered wooden case with a strong carry strap.

The Radio is all in excellent, near mint cosmetic condition, very clean externally and internally. Its very rare to find one in this immaculate cosmetic condition.
It works very well on both wavebands.
A battery box to take 6 AA batteries has been fitted because the original 9 volt battery is no longer available.
