RARE VINTAGE 1960's DECCA TP99 - PORTABLE TRANSISTOR RADIO
Size: 292 x 178 x 95 mm / 11.5" x 7" x 3.8"
Produced in 1964 the Decca TP99 is a 6 transistor portable radio covering the Medium and Long wavebands.
Reception is from an internal ferrite rod aerial and there is a socket for an
external or car aerial and a tape recorder socket. It has a nice slow motion linear tuning dial.
The radio is housed in a strong light tan leatherette covered wooden case with a leather carry strap.
It has been fully checked and serviced and has been cleaned internally and externally. This DECCA looks beautiful and is all in excellent cosmetic condition, complete and original.
As this is a more than 50 years old radio it may have some light age related marks.
The radio works very well on both wavebands.
