The R717 covers the full FM waveband from 88MHz to 108MHz plus the Medium and Long Wavebands.

It has a socket for headphones.

MW and LW reception is from an internal ferrite rod aerial and there is a telescopic swivel base aerial for FM. 

It is housed in a strong red leather covered wooden case with solid teak ends and a strong leather covered plastic carry handle.

Fully checked, cleaned and serviced this beautiful Roberts R717 radio is all in excellent cosmetic condition and perfect working order on all wavebands. 

It works on either a 9Volt PP9 battery or an external 9Volt power supply (neither supplied)
