The Music Boy 170 was produced in the 1980's. 

This is a very good quality radio built by the famous Grundig company. It has very nice styling and great performance. 

It is a 5 waveband portable superhet covering the Long and Medium wavebands plus two Short wavebands from 41m to 49m and the full FM waveband from 88MHz to 108MHz. 

There is a headphone  socket and a socket for a mains leed. MW and LW reception is from an internal ferrite rod ad there is a 30" telescopic swivel-base aerial for SW and FM  bands.  
It has large speaker and slider volume and tone controls. 

This radio has been fully checked and serviced and is all in excellent, near mint cosmetic condition. 

It has strong case and handle. The tuning dial is very clear and bright, the original control knobs and push buttons are intact, the correct aerial is straight and extends and retracts nicely.

This is a complete and original Grundig set in remarkable condition.

This is a very fine and rare example especially in this condition.

A great item for everyone who appreciates a high quality vintage radio.

This Music Boy 170 works very well on all wavebands.   

The sound quality is amazing from the usual large Grundig loudspeaker and slider tone control. 

The radio requires a 4 x 1.5Volt batteries (not supplied) or a mains lead (supplied)
