The Roberts R606MB is the Mains or Battery version of the R606. 

It covers the FM / VHF, Medium and Long Wavebands

It has a telescopic aerial for FM reception and an internal ferrite rod for the AM wavebands.

There are also headphone and external aerial sockets.

It has a strong plastic covered metal carry handle. 

This radio is covered with beautiful olive green coloured leathercloth and has teak wooden ends.

It has separate Bass and Treble tone controls for superb sound from the large internal speaker and switchable AFC for accurate tuning and good station locking.

The radio stands on the usual Roberts turntable base for the best reception from the internal ferrite rod.

This Roberts R606-MB Radio is all original and  in near mint cosmetic condition and still has its original 4 red movable station markers.
The olive green leathercloth covered cabinet is in excellent and very clean condition, complete with nice wooden ends and handle. All the original knobs and push buttons are present and in perfect condition too.

The swivel base aerial is straight and fully extendable.

The radio has been fully checked, cleaned and serviced and works very well on all wavebands and sounds fantastic. 

The controls are smooth and scratch free.

This is a genuine completely original Roberts R606MB radio.

The R606-MB works on either 6 size'C' batteries (not supplied) or direct from the mains (A new mains lead supplied with the radio)
