1970's ROBERTS RAMBLER PORTABLE TRANSISTOR RADIO

This is the later version of the Rambler with plastic frame loudspeaker and round wavechange buttons.
It is covered with beautiful white/vanilla leathercloth and has tick wooden ends with strong leather carry strap. The radio stands on the usual Roberts turntable base.
It is a two waveband radio covering the Medium and Long wavebands.
 
Despite its diminutive size the Rambler sounds great and has good quality volume and sensitivity on MW and LW.
 
This Roberts Rambler has been fully checked, serviced and clean and it is in great working order on both wavebands and is all in excellent cosmetic condition - the white/vanilla covered cabinet is in superb condition with no any scratches or tears, complete with its original strap.
The wooden ends look very nice, the dial is bright with all correct and complete knobs and push buttons.
 
As usual my listings are provided with good range of clear close up photos in order to assess the cosmetic condition in detail.
This radio requires a 9 Volt battery (not supplied)
