VINTAGE ROBERTS R300 PORTABLE TRANSISTOR RADIO

This is a Roberts R300 from the 1960's - MW/LW waveband transistor radio housed in a beautiful red leathercloth/rexine covered wooden case with the usual Roberts turntable base for getting the best reception from the ferrite rod aerial. It has slow motion tuning and gives excellent reception and sound on both wavebands from the large oval loudspeaker.
The radio comes complete with copies of the original Roberts Technical Data Sheet with circuit diagram and Roberts Sales Booklet.
This vintage Roberts R300 radio is all in outstanding cosmetic condition and is complete with all of its original components. Considering that it is more than 50 years old radio it is in excellent condition:
The leathercloth covered case is in very fine condition without any discolouration, tears or marks .
The carry strap is original, complete and fully stitched.
The grill is bright and free of any dents or bad marks.
The original control knobs are clean and complete with their nicely polished shiny brass inserts.
The Roberts badge is intact and the battery box is clean without any signs of a spill.
The radio has been fully checked, cleaned and serviced and is in very good working order on both wavebands and has a wonderful sound from its original Rola speaker.
This is an absolutely complete and original Roberts R300 and is a rare opportunity for vintage radio collectors to add a stunning radio like this to their collection.
