The Roberts R200 was introduced in February 1960 at £14. 6s. 0d. (today's value £300) plus P.T.
The R200 is a six transistor radio and covers the Medium and Long Wavebands. It is housed in a real wooden cabinet covered with rexine/leathercloth, it has a strong plastic carry handle and stands on the usual Roberts turntable base for the best reception.
This R200 radio has been fully checked, cleaned and serviced and it is in excellent working order on both wavebands ( MW / LW ).
It is all in excellent cosmetic condition all around.
The green rexine covered cabinet is also in lovely condition with no scratches, ribs or tears complete with bright, clean and free of any dents grille, bright dial complete with original knobs with shiny
brass inserts and complete Roberts badge. A new identical and fully stitched strap is fitted so you can carry the radio without worries for many more years ahead.
I have provided lots of clear close up photos of the radio in order to see the cosmetic condition in detail.
This R200 radio is more then 50 years old but is absolutely complete and remarkable, also in fully working order with lovely clear sound and will be a great addition to any radio collection.
Copies of the Original Technical Data and R200 Instruction Booklet are included with the radio.
