VINTAGE 1950s ROBERTS 'MR' MAINS VALVE

 RADIO RECEIVER

+
A copy of the Original Roberts Technical Data

Produced from 1953 - 1956.

The MR is a 4 valve superhet 2 waveband receiver with a self contained tuned frame aerial fitted into a wooden leatherette covered case with a leather carrying handle.
It is designed to work direct from the UK 240 volt mains.
It covers :
- the medium waveband from 192 to 570 meters
- the long waveband  from 1200 to 2100 meters.

This Roberts MR has been fully checked, cleaned and serviced and looks stunning and it is working very well on both wavebands. It has very smooth slow-motion tuning.

The leatherette covering looks beautiful  and the whole radio is in excellent condition both cosmetically and electrically. As this is a more than 60 years old used radio there are some small age related marks.

This is an original and complete 60 years old vintage radio set in remarkable condition and is a great item for the vintage radio collector.

I have provided lots of clear close up photos of the radio. Please enlarge them in order to see the cosmetic condition in detail.

A copy of the Trader service sheet is included. The mains lead is incorporated.
